MSA1500 - Active/Active issue with dual bus controller in MSA30
With the above configuration and a split bus shelf I would expect to see disk ranges of the following:
disk101-disk107 and disk201-disk207 (7 disks in each part of the split)
All I see is disks: disk101-disk114
So my question is: Is this correct when using Active/Active firmware
I am using CLI to configure as these units are being used for VMS with unit_ids created and I do not have a windows host connected in the Fabric
Thanks in advance

At the MSA cli, type, >show disk
Look at the B:T:L, are all the drives on the same B?

Re: MSA1500 - Active/Active issue with dual bus controller in MSA30
Thanks for posting. I'm guessing you realized that you don't have a Dual bus SCSI shelf.
FYI, your scsi shelf FW is not supported. You need to be at minimum JB4G. Current, is CP20. It will run but events may not function properly. If you decide to be current, you can order a SB kit that will convert your shelf to supported specs.
