MSA2312fc Active/Active Controller Setting
Hello all,
We have an MSA2312fc storage system with dual controllers and three additional MSA30 enclosures. I cannot find the option to change the controllers settings from the current Active/Passive to Active/Active. This is an easy option to set on our older MSA2012fc(G1) by changing the host-port interconnect settings but does not seem to exist in either the SMU or CLI interfaces for the MSA2312fc. Does anyone know how to change this or alternatively, whether or not this is something that cannot be set on these G2 boxes. I have upgraded the firmware of both the controllers (M110R28) and also the enclosures (3023). Additioanlly, this system does not retain the host port settings for port A1 and keeps reverting back to 2gb and "loop" settings. The settings for the other ports can be changed and retained after a restart. As always, HP support has not been able to provide any information or assistance on this subject. Thank you.
