MSA2324fc Changing default mapping to explicit mapping
Hi
We have just one MSA2324FC hosting a number of VMs shared between two physical hosts
Originally each of the the physical hosts only had a single HBA each therefore single fibre path to the MSA - the mapppings to the volumes were set up as explicit - several months later an extra HBA was fitted to each of the hosts and the new mapping to the volumes setup - unfortunately the window to do this was literally 10 minutes - the option to configure explicit mappings didnt seem to be there - so the HBAs mappings are set to default - hence question is it advisable or possible to try to change these from default mappings to explicit to match the other HBAs and if so how can this be achieved - to do this -would it impact the live environment -any help grate for
one other qustion can you back up the config on the controllers - if so how?
