Does anyone know the procedure to reset the password on this type of router.

The default NSR credentials are:
User name: root
Password: password

If those do not work, you must connect to router though the serial port:
BAUD Rate Autobaud, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200
Data Bits 8
Stop Bit 1
Parity None
Flow Control XON/XOFF

It does not ask for user and password this way. Then, go to:

1) Perform Configuration
2) Ethernet and SNMP Configuration
9) Change Security Settings
