multi-server share the MSA 1000
I have two server(2003 server) share the MSA 1000, and i want to read and write data from the two server into MSA 1000. but i find if i delete or copy a fire from one server to msa 1000, then the other server will not flash the exection until restart the system. is there any problem for me?

Are the 2 servers sharing the same disk volume (LUN) on the MSA1000? If yes, this is not supported and you will corrupt your data. 2 servers can share the a single MSA1000, but they must each have their own separate LUNs. Both servers should not not be given access to the same LUN (unless you are doing a cluster). But even with a cluster, only one server can access a LUN at any given time.

If you want to share the same disk drive with multiple cluster members, you need an OS like VMS that supports true resource sharing. You cannot do this with a Windows cluster.

Matrix Server for Windows; the Windows 2003 will be supported in this quarter.
