Mutliple Clusters on MSA1000
I’m trying to set-up a second cluster on an Msa1000, but I’m not really sure how to go about it. Is this possible? The current Cluster is running on Windows 2000 Advanced server as will the new cluster.

Re: Mutliple Clusters on MSA1000
What will your configuration look like? It is certainly possible to have more than one cluster on an MSA. Just make sure that you have SSP (Selective Storage Presentation) enabled and don't attempt to share the same LUN with the two different clusters.

Re: Mutliple Clusters on MSA1000
Sorry to sound dumb but, by LUN, do you mean not to share the same Raid disk sets currently allocated to the current Cluster?
I will have all new disk set to allocate to the new cluster

Re: Mutliple Clusters on MSA1000
In the ACU, you will actually see the choice to present each Logical Drive to a specific HBA WWID. Present the new drives to the new system and the existing drives to the old system and you'll have no problems.

Re: Mutliple Clusters on MSA1000
Can SSP be enabled while the disks are online and in use by a live system ?. is it recomended to change this setting offline?
