No Room for Snap Shots
I have an P2000 MSA G3 with 12, 600GB SAS drives. I configured for 2 - vDisks (RAID 5, 1 spare) and 3 volumes per vdisk. When I try to do "Create Multiple Snapshots" I get an error message saying "Unable to create the snapshots" - "Snap pool creation failed. Make sure there is enough space on the disk (sp00....) Batch snap-pool creation failed on sp00....Snap-pool creation failed. Make sure there is enough space on the disk" But there is nothing on the disk yet, they are just created now. Do they need to be created differently to hold snap shots?

Re: No Room for Snap Shots
Hi,
You need to create a seperate volume for Snapshots. Long back in have seen MSA. I think you need to create a Master volume to hold the snapshots.
