Not able to see alternate paths on HP-UX 11.11 when directly connected to EMC 4700

Dear all,

We have 1 HP 5430 server which has 2*FC cards & are conneccted on different SP's on EMC 4700. I'm able to see only one path. what should i do tosee to pathfor each LUN created in EMC. Alsoi have configure storage group in EMC.

Pl.helh in reverting ASAP as my installation is stuck

Firstly: note the path LUNs are seen by right now. Then shutdown everything and exchange these two FC cables at the EMC side. Power up everything. Do ioscan and note if path will change or not. If it will not change then problem in the another, external to EMC (FC cable and HBA) path, if will change then in EMC.

You may also need to have the latest firmware doenloaded. Once this is done, you may need to get and EMC CE to actually reboot each SP.

If you have started using any of the volumes, that are presented to you, you *will* also need to do a 'vgexport' in preview mode. You may not wish to loose any LVM disk/VG/LVOL that has already been set up.
