P2000 - not indentify the different disk - all disk (12 disk) have the same bay 0

hi all, our system : server HP DL380 G6, controller P411 connect to storage P2000, we have set the storage with RAID 5 consisting of 12 disks  , drive style SAS, but the broblem is: all disk have the same bay 0, i am not sure this is the broblem, please help me. tks alot.

Hi,

you have to create the Raid and Volumes on the P2000 and not on the P411.

I don not understand what you mean. I created RAID and VOLUME  by HP smart array software on Window environment.

HP StorageWorks P2000 is storage and P411 is raid controller.

So how to create them on P2000 without the software?

By using the P2000 (On-Board) Web Console (GUI), called SMU.
