Power failure and EVA5000

Hi all, we have an EVA5000 and we're planning to do some maintenance in a few days... if the worst scenario occurs, let's say our power generator fails with our UPS' in bypass mode (the UPS systems are getting the maintenance), and kaboom no more power for the entire site.

In that scenario, what are the problems that may arise in terms of data corruption? And after that, in what order do I have to power-on the EVA components?

Since we must provide 24x7 service, it's not an option to power-off the site before starting.

Any info or pointers to documents are greatly appreciated.

TIA and best regards.

Re: Power failure and EVA5000

Each controller has two batteries to power the cache memory for up to 96 hours (provided that they are fuly loaded, have full capacity, ...).

Re: Power failure and EVA5000

96 hours is quite more than the theorical downtime.

Thanks Uwe for the info.
