powerpath and Common Serial Number bit

Hello Everybody:

I am trying to install powerpath on a HP-UX box.

One of the requirements is:

" Ensure that the c bit (Common_Serial_Number bit) is set on the
Symmetrix® interface. Failure to set the c bit can cause data
corruption."

How could i know if this bit is activated ??
