Problem with virtual disk presentation in EVA 3000
Hi
I've this problem:
I've a RX2600 with W2003 and I want connect in my EVA, with the command view I can detect my host, create a vdisk and present my host. Now, in my RX go to device manager, scan hardware for changes and then in disk devices appears two HP HSV100 Scsi Disk Device and in the disk management appear two new disk when I only present one disk to this host in my EVA.
In, Scsi and Raid controllers there are:
- Emulex Light Pulse PCI Fibre Channel HBA ( with adjunt driver ).
- Two times I've - HP EVA3000_CCL
Thank you and have a nice day

Re: Problem with virtual disk presentation in EVA 3000
Hi,
a few comments:
You need to install the Windows Solution Software to have the correct HBA drivers, and drivers for the EVA3000_CCL (Command Console LUN). The disk is seen twice because it is available over each HSV controller. You need either SecurePath software or need to zone your switches to see it properly.
See this thread for more info:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=562473
You can get the solution software (also called platform kit) here:

Regards,
Stephen
