QLA2200 with the MSA1000

Has anyone tried this combination successfully? I am aware that this is not a supported configuration but rather would like to get some feedback. Ultimately, there will be two HBAs on the server one being the FCA2101 which is recommended for the MSA1000 and the QLA2200 which will be for a SAN-attached tape library. Crossing my fingers that the two HBAs work together cooperatively.
