Hi..

I tryes to use RSM to manage snapshots on EVA 6000 but I gets an AUTORIZATION_FAILURE in the EVA Management Servers section.

Can you provide a log (attach as a .TXT file, please) or a screen shot? I don't understand what you mean by 'EVA Management Servers section'.

The problem seems to be the user authization in eva settings. This is a dommain controller (2003) and has no local administrator user..

Did you change the Administrator password since the installation? It must be changed for CV-EVA, too:

> elmsetup -pA:PaSsWoRd -f

You can find some more information in the "HP StorageWorks Replication Solutions Manager 1.1 release notes", T3687-96026

The manual claims you just need to restart the "HP Command View EVA", but when I tried it, it did not work for me. I didn't want to investigate, so I just rebooted the management server.
