Resetting password on Core switch 2/64

Hi
Recently at work we brought in a SAN Fibre Channel Switch but on the fabric login, We cant login using the default admin password, Is there a way of restting the password ? Thanks in Advanced

Have you tried logging into the console using the "root" acocunt? Try "root" and "password". You should be able to reset the admin password from there if you can get in.


Is this switch in production? configured in anyway? You might want to consider defaulting the config is it isn't in use yet. That is, if you can get into the console using the root acocunt.
