RSM 2.1 Database Engine Error

Have arround every Day this Error:

Application popup: Solid Database Engine Error : File paged write failed, error 33, file 'sol00249.log', npages 1, pagesize 16384, page address 622, retries 0

At this Time no more Jobs are executed.
Have to Restart RSM Service to Work again for next 1-2 Days.

Hi Armin,

I have customer seeing this same error in a 2.5 week interval. Can you send me more info on what is running in regards to backup processes on your server too jerry.wood@hp.com?
It seems another app is creating a lock on the solid DB log file. I'm currently looking at MS Volume Shadow Copy and VSS Backup exec configuration/patch deficiencies. Let me know if you're running similar apps. Thanks!

Hi Jerry,

on this Server only EVA Software is Installed (CV, RSM, ISSE).
But the Hint with Backup may be good.
I renember that we don't have this Problem before we include the Server into the Backup.
And Yes, we use BackupExec 11d with VSS.

I am currently on Hollyday, but we can exclude the File and I will send you more Info's next Days per PM.
