RSM Host agent install in OVSAM environment

We have RSM v2.0 running on the same box as OVSAM v3.2. Previously, to install an RSM host agent on a target server, I have used the OVSAM Install Host Agent functionality and the RSM agent was listed in the agent configuration page of OVSAM.

Now I want to add in some more servers to RSM and the RSM host agent install option has disappeared from OVSAM congiguration window. I forget how I got it there in the first place and have failed to find any pertinent documentation.

Anyone know the solution?

OK, in RSM v1 the agents were installed or uninstalled ONLY through OVSAM. In RSM v2 they CAN be installed locally but only after deleting the v1 versions first.

I found that the uninstall initiated from OVSAM failed on each server so I had to delet the devices from OVSAM, manually remove all traces of OVSAM agents on the host - by directly uninstalling the MSI's in the right sequence!

Then a clean install of the OVSAM agents goes on again and the v2 RSM Host agent will install from CD locally. Also applied the v2.0.2 HA patch.
