RSM template snapshot
Hi
Env:
EVA4000, one Disk Group with 30 SATA HD.
Eva Command view 6.0.2.37
Replication Solution Manager 3.1.27
OS Win2003. MS Cluster, SQL Cluster
SQL server 2000 logs errors but ONLY when we perform snapshot from RSM. This issue never happened when we create the snapshot directly from the command view on the EVA:
"SQL Server has encountered 1 occurrence(s) of IO requests taking longer than 15 seconds to complete on file [R:\SQL\XGPRESS_Data.mdf] in database [XGPRESS] (6). The OS file handle is 0x000004D8. The offset of the latest long IO is: 0x000002b0b3a000"
We've notice that performance also decreases even copying a large file.
It looks like that we've got some kind of trouble with the native RSM template. Any suggestion will be welcome
