SAN certification details needed

Dear,
i would like to appear the SAN certification Exam, so which is best (like there are lot of certification in SAN), Max i woulod like to appear hp SAN certification is correct decision or ?

and give good preparation guid also

Siva,

The HP certifications are good (HP Storageworks AIS for instance.... and onwards up the ranks).

The Brocade certifications are good too (they offer 3 routes), HP B-Series switches are based on Brocade designs anyway so it's a handy skill to have. http://www.brocade.com/education_services/certification.jsp

Brocade also have a few study guides on their site for download too. HP don't seem to provide study guides, the EPG's are as good as it gets unless you go on an HP course.

Since Brocade is a Leader in SAN switches, I'll suggest you to do Brocade Certification. Currently Brocade offers three nos. of certification.

If you are in Customer support (postsales), do "BCFP (Brocade Certified Fabric Professional). If you are a pre-sales guy, do "BCSD (Brocade Certified SAN Designer)". The last certification is BCSM. For that, u've to finish either BCFP or BCSD.

Fine.. Then, it's better to do the Brocade certification. You can create your Partner Account in Brocade & download the documents ,tools etc. I hope, you can get a official study guide from HP (from your colleagues) itself.
