SAN Switch is unable to accept new root password...
I'm trying to set new passwords for the root, admin, user and factory accounts. The new password works for admin, user and factory, but not root.
Has anyone had any experience or faced such a problem, whereby the new password works for other accounts and not the root?
- Using a HP 3800 san switch.

You must login as root in order to change a password for root.
standard password for root is "fibranne"
