Script for simple addition to switch-config

Hi Gurus!

I need to find a easy way to add some aliases and zones to a switch-configuration.

I will end up adding aprox 60 servers with 4 hba's each, with a alias for each hba, and each hba going into a zone with to hsv-controllers.

How can I do this in a script, without having to do it manually for each of the above?

You can configure one switch, use configupload, edit the file, keep zoning information, and then run configdownload in the other switches.

I usually prepare all commands in a text file and then use cut&paste to transfer between 2 and 4 lines into the switch command window.

I do one server at a time so I can easily recognize new WWNs on the EVA and assign them to host entries. This also helps to early detect those little errors that I unfortunately make :-(
