Scripts using different device groups for supporting BCV/SRDF process

We have BCV/SRDF process between two remote sites in our company using an EMC DMX3000 array and want to enhance/break our big scripts(two of them) to better support the process. Our scripts use only one device group for all the processes and will delete and recreate the device group every step of the process. We would want to use unique different device groups for every step in the process that does not need deleting and recreating the same device group every step of process. Does someone have better smaller scripts that will do local site BCV establish,remote site BCV establish,local site BCV split,remote site BCV split,SRDF sync between the two sites and SRDF split with the different device groups.
