SCSI and SATA disks in the storage?
can SATA or SATA II disks be used in MSA1000?
or only SCSI?
I think MSA15000 supports SATA disks?

Re: SCSI and SATA disks in the storage?
Hi,
for MSA 1500/1500i SATA/SCSI disks are supported (750SATA disks included) via the following JBODS:
MSA 20 -> SATA disks (3.5") (MSA1500/1500i)
MSA 30 -> SCSI disks (3.5") (MSA1000/1500)
Resume
a)for MSA 1000 there is no SATA disk support
b)MSA1500 supports also mixture of MSA20&MSA30 in other words mixture of the SCSI and SATA disks
Here are all MSA JBODS
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/disk_storage/msa_diskarrays/drive_enclosures/index.html
but there is a new MSA 2xxx on the market and according to this family these disk enclosures are supported (SATA,SAS,SCSI)
