Secure Path and Qlogic Failover
Hello,
with a cluster composed by 4 DL380s accessing a MSA1000 via FCA2214, and running RedHat AS 2.1, is it possible to use the multi-pathing and failover functionality offered by the qla2x00 driver (v7.00.03), and if so, is there some advantage compared with Secure Path?
Thanks

Re: Secure Path and Qlogic Failover
Cost difference?
I can not see any issues with that config unless it is "not supported".
Usually, built-in multipath support does not give you an interface to manage your paths like Secure Path does. I know the MPIO drivers don't. Never worked with the hardwrae drivers with Multipath support.
