Secure Path for Linux on Opteron

Does anyone know if Secure Path will for Linux will function on a Opteron chip set. I can find the x86 installation process. When we try to install on Opteron it give an error stating not compatable hardware

Re: Secure Path for Linux on Opteron

Did you ever get Secure Path to work on your Opteron and Linux? I am attempting to get RH3.0 in 64-bit mode to work with the EVA3000 using Secure Path and have hit a brick wall. Please share the knowledge if you have it!

Thanks!

Re: Secure Path for Linux on Opteron

The current support for Secure Path for Linux is limited to 32bit versions of Linux on Proliant or 64bit versions of Linux on Itanium. If you are using a Proliant with an Opteron processor, and running the 64bit version of Red Hat (for example) you will not be able to use Secure Path, but you CAN use the native failover capabilities of the Qlogic driver.
