SNMP Counter overflow on 4Gb SANswitch after 45sec

Hi all

I noticed that all HP/Brocade SAN switches have only 32bit counters on the ports. This means: With 400MB/sec traffic on a port the SNMP counter (swFCPortRxWords) will overflow after ~45 sec. We normally poll 1/5Min. We can go down to 1/1Min.
What am I missing?
It can not be the solution to poll SNMP counters every second!?
