Solaris 9 (sparc) and Upgrade of EVA5k to EVA8k1
Hi all,
I will need to upgrade EVA from 5k to 8k1, and need to know how to deal with MPXIO on Solaris 9.
What is needed to do that this new EVA is visible to solaris hosts ?
Is it MPXIO enough, or I need to use also Secure Path or not ?

Re: Solaris 9 (sparc) and Upgrade of EVA5k to EVA8k1
Yes, you only need MPxIO for the EVA8100.
See the EVA Solaris installation guide on
http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01080207/c01080207.pdf
For compatibility info check SPOCK as IBaltay wrote and also the SAN Design Reference Guide on http://www.hp.com/go/sandesign
Search for Solaris!
Cheers
Pete
