SOM 1TB License

Hello,

I have a query on SOM 1TB LTU License. DO I need to purchase the said license for capacity above 1TB or even below?
For e.g. if I purchase 8*72GB (=576GB) Disks for EVA300, should I purchase this license?

For License of SOM 1TB LTU, you can contact your HP Sales fellow. He would be the right person for all these query.

You must buy the license for any capacity between 1 Byte and 1 TeraByte. If this isn't an add-on license, you also need the OVSOM Media Kit.

So I should purchase this LTU. After this should I install License key in Commandview EVA?

If not will I get error messages for these disks in case of problem?

Yes, you must buy this LTU. No, you don't install the license in CV-EVA.

CV-EVA has a 'paper license'. The license key that you will obtain is for the second component of SOM: the Storage Node Manager. It needs to be registered there.
