Still have CV Error on EVA8000

Hi,

I still have no Command View and HP unable to provide a fix.
The problem is I cannot get Command View to display on the local server https:localhost:2381/command_view_eva.
However if I disconnect the HBA fibre from the host and reboot I can get the command view page and the discover button.

I plug the fibre back in and run Discover but get the following error;

The request has timedout. The system is busy processing another command.

If I reboot the host with the fibre connected I cannot get into command view.

Any ideas?

What version of Command View are you running? Is it on a Management Appliance or a "regular" Windows server?

Sorry this is on a regular windows server. Command View 5

I sometimes need to stop/start the command view service. It takes a good deal of time before you can connect to it locally.

You probably already checked this, but I would also verify that the windows firewall isn't getting in your way and that the box knows that localhost->127.0.0.1

Closed Thread.

This call is still open with HP who have requested a further reboot of the EVA to fix.
