StorageWorks P2000 G3
Hi all, i'm next to buy a P200G3 with 2 iscsi controller (8 x 1Gb iscsi), 2 DL380G7 and 2 procurve 2910 switch to set a HA infrastructure. Is possibile to match SAN iscsi ports togheter to enhance througthput? I mean, 1Gb between server and san to set up a DB storage could be poor imho.
Does anyone knows cache size of P2000 iscsi controllers?
TIA,
Daniele.

Re: StorageWorks P2000 G3
I don't recall there being any options to bond iSCSI ports on the MSA in the web interface.
I could be wrong, I have not set up iSCSI on the ones I've installed. From what I remember, there were only network setting fields that were settable, but Idid not dig deep.
On the other hand, with 8 ports... you can do lots of load balancing and/or multipath.
As for poor performance... it depends on how utilized the databse server(s) are going to be.
