SVSP and VMware consistency
We plan to use SVSP with synchronous mirror (local) and asynchronous mirror (remote for DR).
Cluster ESX are used with this architecture, with Linux and Windows VM.
My questions:
- are PiT replication file system consistent ?
(ie will it be possible to start VM on remote vDisk)
- if not, what are the best practice to have VMware consistency on the remote site ?
- are sync mirror file system consistent ?
(ie will it be possible to restart VM in case of power outage on primary site ?)
Regards

Re: SVSP and VMware consistency
Hello Didier,
in your case (asynchronous site) this might help you: http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA2-9855ENW.pdf - a nice whitepaper "Disaster Recovery Solutions with HP SVSP and VMware SRM" regarding mirror over IP WAN.
I hope it could be relevant
