unable to boot vpar after SAN switch upgrade
All,
We have recently upgraded our brocade switch firmware. Since he one Vpar has failed to boot successfully over the SAN using 2Gbit FC card - error : :Failed to open (0/8/0/0.1.23.0.0.1.0;)/stand/vmunix.
All other vpars run fine and are using 1Gbit FC cards.
Any ideas on why / how to boot my final Vpar ????
Thanks in advance.

Re: unable to boot vpar after SAN switch upgrade
How about some more information here...
What did you upgrade from? too?
What are your 2GIG cards? (Manufacturer?)
What Hardware/OS are you running? Versions?
What is your storage device(s)?
What is your SAN configuration?
Are you zoning?
...Etc.
You did not give us a whole lot to go on in your first post.
I have had boot failures without upgrading my SAN switches. The storage controller needed a kick in the port! :-)
