Using ACU on line in a Netware Cluster
Is it possible to configure the MSA1000 online using the browser based insight manager. I know it can be done using Windows and the microsoft HBA.
I did configure the MSA1000 using the bootable unix CD, But all nodes in the netware cluster abended as soon as ACU program started communicating to the MSA1000. Does the entire cluster have to be offline to use the bootable CD
Any insight would be great

Re: Using ACU on line in a Netware Cluster
I don't think Netware is supported with the ionline web version of the ACU.
Checking at the ACU web site, it looks like only Windows and Linux for the online version. This means that you would need to bring all of the cluster nodes down and then use the version of ACU with SmartStart.

The only other thing I can think of is to use the Command Line Interface (CLI) to the MSA1000, but you still might have problems with the live nodes when the CLI commands hit the storage box.

Thanks,
