VA7410 with dual redandant controllers
Hi,I have VA7410 with dual redandant controllers, one of them failed,i got a replacement shipped already?
What should i do to replace the faulty one?
is there any procedure to be done?
is there any chance a data loose will occur?

Re: VA7410 with dual redandant controllers
You should not do it unless you're HP customer engineer, ASP (authorized service partner) or allowed by local HP support center to do it. Please contact local support center for instructions.
Generally when you insert replacement controller into functioning VA then code synchronization occurs (~3-5 minutes). After synchronization VA performs partial reset (~10 seconds of unavailability).
HPUX host with Oracle database should survive it, but windows host with SQL database will not. So the answer is 'it depends' and you need qualified CE to do it or to be in touch with this CE/RCE
