Virtual Replicator 4.0 with windows 2003

This is another problem that I ran into when using the above combination. I manage to get them co-exist, but when I try to create a new pool. I have the following error

Failed to create new ppol

Virtual Replicator Service could not create the new pool due to the following error:

Catastrophic failures.


See the attached picture.

I banged my head for the last two days. Can anyone help?
