Virtual Replicator
Hello
We have below environment
DL 380 G4, Server Win2003 SP1 (File Server)
MSA1000 Array Controller FW 4.48.B342
SAN Switch 2/8
QLogic FCA2101 HBA Driver 9.1.0.18
using Storage Virtual Replicator 4.1
MPIO
Server/Storage/Virtual Replicator running for a few months without problems.
the Problem started with a server hang, we tried a restart and a blue screen appeared. we tried rebootng to the last known good cofig but still the same issue. then we did a O/S repair and installed Virtual Replicator upon restarting we got blue screen with error HPQVRBUS.SYS. after removing the presented logical drive the server booted fine. we had another logical drive with the virtual replicator pool which was not used by this server, upon repesenting this drive we were able to see the pool through the virtual replicator. which gives a suspision that the original logical drive on the san ment for the file server is having problem. please advice a recovery process.
Regards
Robin
