WEBES/ISEE/OSEM
I'm trying to implement ISEE & Webes only i'm stumbeling against a problem with the WCCProxy.
We installed Isee first, works fine and WCCProxy is running. After installing WEBES, WCCProxy is suddenly removed wich causes the desta services to fail.
isee 3.90
webes 4.4.1
smaIII
java 1.4.2_08
All the services including OSEM are communicating via the WCCProxy, so this is pretty mandatory for a correct functioning.
If anybody has an idea?
Thanks in advance.

Re: WEBES/ISEE/OSEM
ISEE3.95 & Webes4.4.1 Or higher and for OSEM a newer release is available as well.
There are some known issues with the old versions.

Re: WEBES/ISEE/OSEM
ISEE A.03.95
OSEM1.3.7A_IA32_Build07_23Nov
WEBESV443BL50KIT1_Dec-17-2005_Windows
during first install of ISEE, the WCCProxy didn't finished by itself, had to kill the install process for ISEE to continue. Install was hanging during removal of temp files.
Osem did install ok
and WCC proxy disepeared during WEBES install.
The server also hosts :
HP CV EVA 4.1
HP SIM 5.0 SP2
HP SMI-S for EVA
HP Rapid deployement Pack 2.1
I have extrated a RAID 1 system disk before the ISEE platform installation, so i now back before ISEE install and will try again tomorow with versions of ISEE, OSEM and WEBES froms the EVA platform kit CD, I'll will give some news.
best regards,
Louis-Marie.

Re: WEBES/ISEE/OSEM
have found an issue to the problem,
I was installing from an Active Directory account that is member of local administrators group, WCCProxy fails to install.
Doing installation from local Administrator account solves the problem
Best regards and thanks for your time Fabian.

Re: WEBES/ISEE/OSEM
Im having the same problem with a WEBES 4.5.1 installation. The installation hangs on the WCCProxy installation during the "Removing backup files" step. This happens with an upgrade or a clean installation. I tried it with a domain admin account and the local administrator account of the machine, no go.
Any ideas?
