I have 2 Brocade 4100 switches currently in my SAN environment inter connecting CX3-40,CX-500 and Dell blade servers . I would like two add two more similar switches into this fabric . SO each faric will be having two similar switches there by making total count of 4 switches . What are all the points / steps i should ensure before doing this . Since it is a production environment no downtime will be allowed .
Thanks in advance

Solution
Hi,
a) this thread can help you:
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1269689
(the latest stable firmwares are 5.3.1b or 6.1.0d)
b) http://www.brocade.com/education_services/docs/BCAF_docs/04_53_1000853_01_TroubleshootingGuide_v610.pdf
page 31: this fabric settings need to be identical
c) check also with EMC/DELL
c1)if the routing should be port-based (page 54, aptpolicy=1)
c2) if IOD should be set to enable (iodset)
c3) if the DLS should be set to disable (dlsreset)
