Windows 2003 Server loses Tape
Hello,
we do have an SAN environment, with different Server OS. Everytime we reboot the NSR of our MSL6000 (for configuring purposes), two out of three Windows Server 2003 clients lose contact to the two Ultriums within the MSL. There is no other way than rebooting these two servers to rediscover the tapes. All other clients (Linux, Windows, Netware) do not show this behaviour.
We checked the mappings in the nsr, we tried to scan for changed hardware in the Windows device manager, unplugged the fiber to the nsr: no effect, still no nsr and tape visible in the device manager.
Any hints?
Regards,
Karsten
