I have worked with HP Data Protector.....so for me this is good.

I can't compare with others but this is good.

A more manual mix of crontab, bashscript, tar and scp is nice too :)

I think what's 'best' is often depending on what it supports.

Commvault or networker are two other big names in this.

There is a Data Protector Express that has some limitations but is good for smaller setups.
