Zone Configuration
I have an HP Surestore FC Switch "Part Number A7340A".
I want to create a tape backup zone with port number 12,13,14 and 15.
The FC switch is configured on the network and I have the admin access.
What are the steps involved? Where can I get a better document on the zone configuration?
Thanks,

Re: Zone Configuration
does the switch already have a zoning configuration? Are you using WWN or port-based zoning? Can you post the output of the commands 'switchShow' and 'cfgShow'? Please post as a .TXT attachment - if you cut&paste in the message field the ITRC will collapse all space characters which will make the output hard to read.
I suggest that before you start that you save the configuration (via 'configUpload') together with the output of both commands above on a server that is not attached to the SAN.
You say you are looking for 'better' documentaton, but you don't say what you already have at hand and what do you think is missing or unclear. Can you explain, please?
