How to Obtain HPE Passport account

Hi All,

I am upgrading from EDF 7.2 to EDF  7.3 . 

Its expecting HPE passport account from below link

https://docs.ezmeral.hpe.com/datafabric-customer-managed/73/AdvancedInstallation/Obtaining_an_HPE_Account.html

and token from below link.

https://docs.ezmeral.hpe.com/datafabric-customer-managed/73/AdvancedInstallation/Obtaining_a_Token.html

To obtain an HPE Passport account, visit the MY HPE SOFTWARE CENTER and click Sign In to create a new account

In the above link i am to login with mail id and SSO.  I am not sure what passport account they are reffering and for token,

Could you please explain how to get passport account and token .

in https://docs.ezmeral.hpe.com/datafabric-customer-managed/73/AdvancedInstallation/Obtaining_a_Token.html, after you login, you'll see the token associated to your account(pls refer to attached image), that token will be  used in the repo configuration.

for example:


[MapR_Core]
async = 1
baseurl = https://package.ezmeral.hpe.com/releases//v7.2.0/redhat
enabled = 1
gpgcheck = 1
name = MapR Core Components
password = <your user token in the red frame>
protect = 1
username = <your email id>

Hello Anil,

The passport account is the same that you created through MY HPE SOFTWARE CENTER . 

After you click on - HPE Support Center User Token page for token, please provide the same credentials which you created already.

Then use the HPE passport userID along with the generated token to authenticate with the internet repository -
