HPE ERE - Runtime Tenant Storage - No mapr?

Hello!

I have a clean unlicenced ERE build with a gateway, K8 cluster, and tenant.  This build is built on Redhat 8 with the latest runtime binaries from hpe repos.  I have configured no security and no authentication configuration for this test build and left everything as default as I can for the build.

I have a HPE data fabric built in the same network with the hpe data fabric 7.3 binaries and have attached a data tap from this data fabric to the k8 tenant within the k8 cluster.

I would like the default tenant storage to be the data fabric however I can't configure it.  The option is gray'd out.  (see screen shot below).
My colleague is also having the same issue.  We have tried several builds and can't seem to select this option.

Can someone help point me in the right direction in order to enable this option?

Thank you and much appreciated.

Re: HPE ERE - Runtime Tenant Storage - No mapr?

I think I may have found the solution.  I was thrown initially with what looked like a selectable option via the ERE web ui for the tenant storage however in fact is not.  To enable the tenant storage as your external data fabric you must configure a series of steps on the controller node and also the data fabric cldb primary node outlined here within the doco at Registering HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric on Bare Metal as Tenant Storage.... i guess the name says it all.

I will give this a go and post how it goes.
