HPE Ezmeral download using token, authentication prompt keeps popping up.

Hi All,

I created a new user to sign into the HPE portal so that I could obtain a token to download software from https://package.ezmeral.hpe.com.

I am just downloading via brower and after navigating to the page above, i get a "Sign In" pop up asking for username and password.

I supply the email address i used to create the account and the token obtained at https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/swd/entitlement-token-service/generate.

I expect to see a directory listing at this point, but the Sign In pop up just keeps coming up.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I just tried this using my credentials and I'm able to login and view the directory contents.  Can you please make sure the email and auth token are correct?  If it still doesn't work, you can try generating a new auth token and see if the new token works.

Hi Dave,

I have done this a multiple times, revisiting the token generation page, gernarating a new token copying and pasting, but still the sign in window just keeps popping up.

I've tried in standard chrome windows as well as new incognito windows, all with the same result.

I have triple checked that the email address is correct and i'm using the copy function on the token generation page and paste it directly to the sign in pop up so the token should be correct.

Any other thoughts?

If you give me the login email you're using I can ask my colleagues to check with the support portal team and see if there is something about your profile that is blocking access.

FYI for anyone else seeing this problem - the issue was resolved by the user filling out the empty fields of his user profile on the HPE support portal.  Even the fields that do not show up as "mandatory" should have some data in them for the profile to be considered valid.
