Getting API token using SSO authentication

Are we able to get API token using SSO authentication method?

You cannot use SSO auth for grants. You will need to manually generate your API token under your user profile.

Have you tried using Provides authentication via username and password?

Yes, I tried. It says invalid_grant using SSO. I got token if I use AD authentication and local users.
