Maximum Tasks allowed in an Operational workflow

Has anyone ever documented the maximum number of tasks that I can have in an Operational Workflow? I looked through the documentation and did not see a stated maximum number of tasks allowed.

As far as I know, it’s effectively limitless. I’ve never heard of someone hitting a limit.
