How to get the status of the Service Catalogue item post ordering using API

I’m trying to capture the status details of the service catalogue item once it’s ordered and executed. I need those details to be captured to inject them into a report for publishing.
Appreciate your response. My catalogue is of Instance type.

1. Order a Service catalogue.
2. Execution will progress.
3. Execution completes with workflow processing.
4. Capture the results of the catalogue.
5. Inject the status variables to submit a report.
