not able to find anything in documentation as well.

That is the Syslog listener for TCP. There is one for UDP as well on 8514. I am unsure if we expose a way to change or disable it in the agent configuration. It is loaded by the Java process, which is the agent code. It is used to ship the OS logs to the appliance.

Currently, MCS server system has Morpheus agent installed but Morpheus is using port 6514 which is the same port as MCS service running.
