Inquiry about HPE VME Backup Capabilities

I would like to ask whether HPE VME supports backing up virtual machines (VMs) to external storage, such as a NAS device, using the iSCSI protocol—similar to how solutions like Veeam operate.

Is this functionality supported natively, or would it require additional software or configurations?
