Migration vm since vCenter to nfs shared cluster VME = 0% after 20h

Hello,

I am having a problem migrating from a vCenter to shared NFS storage on the VME cluster.

I can deploy an instance on the NFS share from my two VME hypervisors. I can also migrate a VMware VM to local storage on both VME hypervisors. When I launch a migration task to the VME NFS share, the task remains at 0% for 20 hours in the Vcenter tasks, on the Morpheus log side, “data transfer in progress...” and nothing else... There is space on the destination storage (90G VM, 230 GB free on the shared NFS).

It seems to me that no flow should be opened between Vcenter and the VME shared storage network.

I have someone suggesting that you should look at your permissions. Look at the NFS server connection log to see what's happening there. They suggested that the export needed is: /mnt/nfs01 10.0.32.0/23(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check)

And on the NFS share: chown nobody:nogroup /mnt/nfs01

Oh, master VME!
Thank you for the feedback and information. On the NFS server side, there was a permission error. What confused me was that I could deploy instances on each of the nodes to the NFS share. After following your recommendation, the VMware migration to VME on the NFS share worked.

LOL - I am far from a VM Essentials master but thank you. I still much to learn and the answer came from one of my internal experts!
